When starting to do affirmations it can seem strange at first because it’s something you aren’t used to. However, once you get into the habit of doing it, there are many benefits from this practice such as motivating you to act, changing your negative thought patterns into positive ones, helps you to concentrate on your goals, and influences your subconscious mind to access new beliefs. To get started, start with looking at any negative thoughts about yourself and write down the opposite that counteracts that belief. Once you have a good list down then practice saying these once a day for 7 days. From there if you want to continue, do it for 30 days or as long as you want.
